7 - Changing Account Password Guide

This guide will give you the basic information that you need to know about changing the password associated with your OpenDNS account. Please be aware that if the system or network running OpenDNS uses a dynamic IP address (such as DSL, Dial-Up, or most cable connections), changing the account password may require that the dynamic update client (available for Windows or Mac) is updated with the new password to ensure that the security and logging settings that you have setup will properly be carried over to the new IP address.


STEP 1:
  • Login to the OpenDNS account you wish to configure. It will bring you to a page that should bring you to your dashboard home page, which should look somewhat like this:
